SuperBeam For Faster File Sharing

Connectivity in phones have been developing along with mobile phones. It started with infra-red, then came bluetooth, then NFC and now the newest is WiFi Direct. Developers have formulated a new application called the SuperBeam which provides a faster file transfer process.

SuperBeam uses WiFi Direct to share any file stored on the device with another device, this is possible on a device that runs Android 4.0 or later. If your device runs an older version of Android, the application will automatically switch to hotspot mode. You can pair the devices using QR codes or NFC, you do not need to install an QR reader application because it has an inbuilt QR scanner. Another feature that SuperBeam boasts is the ability to use an existing WiFi network to connect and share files between devices.

Flash Your Android Device Wirelessly Using RemoteFlash

Many people after buying there smart phones, are satisfied by the features that the company has provided with the phone. But there are a second group of people too who want to explore their devices to the fullest by flashing custom ROM or flashing any new update or adding a modded feature of some other phone to enhance the properties of their phone. At the time of flashing or rooting you require a USB cable and a laptop, but many a times you will not find the USB cable in place or it would be not in a good condition due to frequent use. Despite of this if a person uses this faulty USB cable for flashing then its mere risk.

To minimize this risk developers have come up with a application which will allow users to flash there phones wirelessly. The application is called as 'RemoteFlash'. It allows you to flash ROMS, Mods, and Updates directly from your computer, over WiFi.  APK's can also be installed on your device  wirelessly using this application.

This application consists of two files. The first  one being a standalone Java application that will  run on your computer and  the other file is the RemoteFlash apk which will be installed in your android device. The PC and the android device should be connected to each other via same WiFi network.

Procedure-:

Install the java application on your PC and the APK on your android device.
Run the RemoteFlash apk.
Reboot the device.
As soon as your device boots back up, RemoteFlash will be running.
Open the PC client and click "Auto-Scan".
Check/uncheck "Wipe Data/Cache", and click "Go".
Select the file to be flashed, and it will be flashed directly to your device.

Firefox OS Developers Preview for Android devices

           In this evolving smartphone age where everyday in the world a new phone and a new technology related to it is being introduced, the very base of it the operating system is also evolving. Now the dominating operating system for mobiles is Android provided by Google, if we even see its stage and time period of evolution it has increased exponentially. Slowly other companies have also started developing there own operating system in order to make a place in the smartphone technology market. Apple has its iOS, Samsung has also come out with Tizen OS and Ubuntu is also trying to enter the smartphone market. Among these Mozila is also trying to develop a mobile OS, which is called as the Firefox OS.

          The project name for Firefox OS is "Boot to Gecko (B2G)", it is a open source operating system just as Google Android. This operating system is designed to run web based applications and the installed apps on a smartphone , tablet and smart TVs. This operating system was introduced in February 2012, from them it has been trying to make itself relevant in the existing Mobile OS battle.

Play your Youtube videos on VLC player directly

I  first thought of saying about what vlc is and how useful it is but then it occurred to me,you might be knowing about it.It is the world's most favorite video player and plays almost all formats.But today i am going to tell you about a new feature of this player.
                                How many if you knew you could play youtube videos via your VLC player ?? Not many right so here are the steps by which you can do it !!

Step 1: Open your VLC player and press  ctrl+n

Step  2:Enter the url of the media that you want to play and press the play button !!

Benefits:

• You can choose Video -> Always on Top inside VLC and the YouTube video window will stick to the foreground while you work on other tasks.
• Press the Loop button in the player controls and the YouTube video will play non-stop in a loop (also possible with Chrome add-ons).
• You can change the Playback speed of the YouTube video and make it run slower or faster than the normal speed.
• Use the Tools -> Take Snapshot option to capture a screenshot image of any frame or scene in the YouTube video.
• Watch the YouTube videos without the ads. I played a couple of movies and music videos inside VLC and none of them carried any pre-roll ads.

How To Hide A Drive In Windows

Hiding things and sending secret messages is not a Practice of this era.It has been in our civilization from the evolution of human kind,but this era is a little different and need HI-TECH methods to keep their Data secure and hidden.

You might be accustomed with normal procedure of hiding a file or folder with normal hide and show hidden file procedures but how about hiding the whole drive ?? Confused,No need to be,this is possible with simple registry hacking technique and a simple software called NoDevicesmanager .Not only this you can even hide DVD and CD drives .

Here's a screen shot of the application,you can see the names of multiple drives named A: to Z:,just check the drive you want to hide and click on save changes,You can also set a password to the application so that there is no Unauthorised usage.

This is a very important tool for people who don't posses a Hard Disk.They can easily create a small partition in the windows and hide their secret Photos,Videos,important Documents etc,and no one will ever know !!

Make WhatsApp Free for Lifetime

"WhatsApp", A revolutionary messaging application  which completely eliminated the so called term 'SMS'. Now, people usually refer to the phrase "WhatsApp me" instead of "message me". Now, the problem with WhatsApp is that you have to pay 0.99$ on iOS to get it but once you purchase it, it's free for lifetime. Let's begin. 

Starting of with 'Apple Account', you need to create one. Just download and install 'itunes' and from there you can easily create your Apple account.

Next comes 'Patience'. It's quiet a tradition on iOS where they giveaway various apps for free of cost. So, every year there's a period when 'Whatsapp' is completely free on iOS, i.e, lifetime subscription. 

So have patience and wait for that period to come. Don't worry, stay tuned to  technoisseur and we will let you know.

Finally, you need an 'iPhone' which you can easily borrow from one of your friends. Once you have downloaded WhatsApp from App store for free from your account, install it on your friend's iPhone with your own SIM card in it.(Don't Forget to first Log Out from his Apple account and then Log In via yours).

After installing, just enter the required data and done!!(Just for Safety message few of your buddies using iPhone and then log out from your Whatsapp's account).

Get Rid of Cell Broadcasting Messages [ROOTED]

All of us out there are annoyed of those buggy cell broadcasting messages and even turning it off manually(Messages --> Cell Broadcasts --> Settings) doesn't seem to help. This particular problem is mostly experienced with custom ROMs. How to get rid of them?

Well, follow these steps and I'm sure you'll no longer be getting those 'alien-encrypted' broadcast messages.

• - Open Terminal Emulator (Menu --> Terminal Emulator)  and switch to root using su command.
• - Execute the following command :                                                                                                                    pm disable com.android.cellbroadcasterreceiver
• - Once successfully executed, it'll return kill.
• - Restart your phone and that's it. You're done. 

In order to turn it back ON, just replace disable with enable. But seriously, Why would you do that?
